Disebabkan pemanasan global yang berlaku sekarang ini satu kempen untuk menutup lampu pada jam 8.30 hingga 9.30 malam pada 28 Mac ini akan dijalankan. Kempen ini juga disambut baik oleh TV9 kalau tak silap dan mereka akan memberhentikan siaran pada 8.30 hingga 9.30 malam pada tarikh tersebut.

Rasanya tindakan ini bukan akan mengurangkan pemanasan itu tetapi ingin memberi kesedaran kepada semua manusia dimuka bumi ini mengenai permasalahan ini.

Adakah anda akan join sekali? Mungkin tidak untuk menutup laptop anda tutup la mana-mana yang tidak penting dapat juga mengelakan pembaziran.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with 2.2 million homesand businesses turning their lights off for one whole hour. Only a yearlater and this event had become a global sustainability movement withup to 100 million people across 35 countries participating. Theresults of the election are being presented at the Global ClimateChange Conference in Copenhagen 2009. We want one billion votes forEarth, to tell world leaders that we have to take action against globalwarming.
